Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS) is basically the compression of vessels at the thoracic outlet.
It can be very painful and can cause numbness, tingling, and circulation problems in the arm.

It usually just occurs on one side of the body and is caused by tightness in the scalene muscles. These muscles form a triangle which various nerves and vessels pass through, thereby causing
nerve compression.  Nerve compression restricts blood flow and interferes with nerve function affection surrounding soft tissue as well.
This class demonstrates how to isolate and release the muscles that surround the nerves being compressed thereby relieving the compression of the nerves and the symptoms it causes.
