NCBTMB Provider Continuing Education
What exactly does it mean to be approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork?
A NCBTMB-Approved Continuing Education Provider (APCE) is a massage therapy continuing education instructor or organization that has exhibited quality instruction of the highest standard throughout the profession.
Impressive, right?
Since the beginning of this century, NCBTMB’s Program has served as a key component of its certification program to ensure that therapy professionals have access to reliable, creditable, high-quality massage therapy CE throughout their careers.
Additionally, NCBTMB serves as the entity liable for approving CE for many states’ licensure renewal.
Board Certificants must re-certify every two years and are required to earn 24 credits from a NCBTMB-Approved Provider within that two-year period in order to keep their massage therapist or bodyworker certifications.
